Accessibility and Video

What is Assistive Tech?  Assistive technology allows students with diverse learning needs to access the content of a video or other learning materials.  The infographic below displays different types of assistive technologies that can be used to make lectures and presentations accessible to all.  For those with physical disabilities, video can be adapted with audio and visual cues like subtitles or transcription.  For those with cognitive disabilities, animation, speed, and extra time can be built in to help the learner process information better.
